Coastal currently operates more than 4 million hours of security services annually, giving us outstanding experience in meeting rigorous contract requirements. Overseas, we support the DoS Construction Security Monitoring (CSM) program by providing Cleared American Guards and Construction Surveillance Teams to U.S. embassies. As a Top Secret-cleared facility, we specialize in providing cleared guards for most of our contracts – more than 50% of our employees have Secret clearances, with 30% of those employees cleared at the Top Secret level. Within the CSM program, every employee holds a Top Secret clearance.

Within the National Capital Region (NCR), Coastal has been entrusted to provide protective services to many of the most high-visibility Federal facilities, some of which house Presidential Cabinet members. We also protect the Ronald Reagan Building, the largest publicly accessible Federal building in the world.

Beyond our quality day-to-day performance, Coastal adds value by greatly improving the level of security services on contracts we are awarded – our reputation in this area is unparalleled.  In many cases, we have “turned around” deficient performance inherited from previous contractors quickly and completely.  In recent years, the government has awarded us a number of security services contracts where the security programs were suffering from understaffing, low employee morale, poor management, failure to train or certify employees, failure to maintain payroll, and poor government-contractor relations. Coastal’s performance under these adverse conditions added significant value, demonstrated the effectiveness of our approach, and re-established professional security services at critical facilities.
